I created a level editor for the game. This way it will be quite easy to create new levels. Although the used graphics are placeholders, you quickly get an idea of how the game is going to look. Every level, or group of levels, will have a different set of colors...

You can play around with the editor yourself:

Level editor (large resolution required)

- ‘New level’ will create a new level (number of tiles will determine the size).
- You can load the following maps: ‘xml/map1.xml’, ‘xml/map2.xml’, ‘xml/map3.xml’, ‘xml/map4.xml’, ‘xml/map5.xml’ and ‘xml/map6.xml’.
- Preview level will let you preview the level.

This looks awesome. Digging the artwork and the clean interface for the editor. Can’t wait to see what the game looks like.

@ Bryson: Thanks! Mind you the graphics are still placeholders, I will be working on the definitive graphics soon…

So far i like the overall idea of the game. Knowing your design skills the final graphics will also look good. Looking forward to playing it.

p.s. Like the weblog, great idea and looks nice.
