The Uitmarkt is the festival celebrating the opening of the cultural season in Amsterdam. The Amsterdams Uitburo asked Fabrique together with Q42 to create an iPhone app containing the program of the Uitmarkt. You can also add all your favorite performances or take a look at the specially selected highlights. Be sure to download the App for free in the App Store and let me know what you think! Supercharged is a new online magazine. The high quality video items are mostly about lifestyle and creativity. Together with illustrator Tiquestar I created the concept and design for the website. New birds

A nice fresh update on www.crazybirds.org. After one year of blogging in Dutch Gijs now switched to English. Together with developer Blaise Kal we've added a couple of nice new features: social bookmarking, a new portfolio section, a music player, search functionality including tags and last but not least comments on the homepage to make to activity on the blog more prominent. A good way to start the year! We won a GOOD DESIGN AWARD (The Chicago Athenaeum - museum of architecture and design) for I amsterdam.com. I amsterdam.com is the city portal for the city of Amsterdam we created at Fabrique. Meanwhile we've been really busy with some great new projects. I promise to update my portfolio soon! Cheers! Crazy Birds nominated for two Dutch Bloggies Awards

Hard work pays off. After a year of blogging like a mad man Gijs van der Togt's music weblog crazybirds.nl is nominated for not one but two Dutch Bloggie Awards. One in the category of Best Music Weblog and the other one being Best Design, which I would be responsible for ;-). Online as of last week, new dutch illustration agency Dutch-Hub. I did their brand new website, Blaise Kal was responsible for the technical implementation and Ajax animations.
